Plan of the day:
- Take-off from Kutaisi at 8:30 a.m.

Rabati Fortress
During this tour you will visit:
- Rabati Fortress - One of the most beautiful and largest medieval fortresses in Georgia. It is located in the city of Akhaltsikhe, in the Samtskhe-Javakheti region.
- We will also stop at the ruins of Castle Khertvisi. It is one of the oldest fortresses on Georgian soil. Its origins date back to pre-Christian times. According to legend, the fortress was to be conquered by Alexander of Macedon. In the 10th century, a church was built inside the fortification. In contrast, most of the walls seen today were built around 1354.
- The rock city of Vardzia. It is a monastery city. Vardzia began construction during the rule of George III in 1185, while it was completed under his daughter, Queen Tamara.
During the Middle Ages, Vardzia was used as a refuge during Mongol invasions - it could accommodate between 20,000 and 60,000 people.
The place is maintained by a small group of monks. About 300 chambers are open to the public.

Borjomi Park
- On the way, we'll stop for a walk around the spa Borjomi, where you can taste natural mineral waters.
A meal break is planned between the tours. Our drivers will advise where to eat delicious regional dishes. The return in Kutaisi is in the evening.
Additional option: During the summer season from 01.07 to 30.09 the return to Kutaisi is via the scenic off-road Zekari Pass.
