Day 1
We will meet you at Kutaisi airport. Half an hour from the airport we will already be at our family guesthouse in Kutaisi. You will stay in the oldest district of Kutaisi - Gora. From our terrace you can admire the Bagrati Cathedral. There is a family atmosphere at our place. We have comfortable rooms and lots of warmth and love for all guests. We guarantee that you will feel at home. You will be welcomed with a glass of natural wine made by the host of the house - Lasha. During dinner you will get a taste of the regional dishes prepared by the hostess Mrs Ruso! The table will be piled high. There will be succulent shashliks, chinkali, khachapuri and much more!

Day 2

We will take you on a tour of the picturesque area of Kutaisi, to Prometheus Cave, the Monastery and Martvili Canyon. We will then drive to the city of Baghdati, where winemaker Mr Gaioz Sopromadze will be waiting for us. We have been working together since 2015. Mr Gaioz will tell you about his passion, the wine tradition in Georgia, which is more than 8,000 years old!

At the winemaker Mr Gaioza Sopromadze

You will taste 3 varieties of Imeretin wine from qvevri. We will all sit together for dinner, which will be prepared for us by the Sopromadze family. The table will be generously set with regional dishes. The winemaker himself will be Tamada and will extend his stories in toasts while we feast together! As soon as you wish you can purchase bottled wine on site from the winemaker.

On the way back, we can additionally go for a swim in the wild sulphur springs, which we discovered in 2015 and promoted to the whole tourist world. We will then return to Kutaisi.

Day 3

The next day will be another adventure! We will take you on a jeep tour into the mountains to the Lechkhumi region. We will drive through the picturesque valley of the Rioni River, enjoying the mountain scenery and wildlife. We will stop at the village of Tvishi for a wine tasting of the same name. The village is a microzone of Tvishi wine, a lightly sparkling white wine that you will taste in an intimate winery. Tvishi was Roosevelt's favourite wine!

We will be in the charming village of Lailashi, from where fabulous views of the Lechkhum Mountains and the Lajanura Dam open up.

Ms Manoni and her group

On this day we will be hosted by Ms Manoni in her unique boutique-restaurant, which is located in the village of Gvirishi nestled among the Lechkhumis mountains. On the way, we will see the huge Gvirishi waterfall!

Ms Manoni is incredibly committed to promoting the Lechkhumi region. She has awakened the whole village to action! People from all over the world come to visit her. Ms Manoni is popularising the local Zanduri species of wheat. There are only 20 natural species of wheat unmodified by man in the whole world and Zanduri is one of them!

Ms Manoni also produces her own wine, liqueurs, honey, cultivates regional traditions and promotes them internationally - she has even visited America!

In her small museum, we will be able to see how grains were worked and wine made in the past. Listening to her fascinating stories will take us back in time. A real festival of flavours awaits us, during which we will have the opportunity to taste Ms Manoni's wines and liqueurs and share in a delicious dinner. Later in the evening we will return to Kutaisi.

Day 4

We will be heading to the Georgian Switzerland, namely the beautiful Racha region! Racha is famous for one of the most expensive wines in Georgia Khvanchkara, which we will taste!

We will stop at the most beautiful lake in Georgia - Shaori and in the town of Ambrolauri at a huge monument to... a bottle of wine 😉 We will not take you to a standard factory but to the microzone of Kchvankhara wine, the village of Bugeuli, Abanoeti, where a unique variety of its strains grow.
