Georgia 1 - day tour on horseback from Tbilisi
Enjoy the horse trails of the Georgian desert. After seeing these areas every rider wants only one thing, to gallop across the boundless steppes that surround us!
Feel like you are on the set of a western, just 40 minutes from Tbilisi. Our brave Caucasian horses from Ushguli and a horse guide will be waiting to take you on a horseback rally! A tour dedicated to those who can ride a horse. Move freely at a walk, trot and gallop.

On the trail to the rainbow mountains
Get our brave caucasian horses! They are very hardy on the trail and accustomed to open areas. After all, this is their pasture every day. These are our Mose horses from the High Caucasus from the village of Ushguli, where we organise horseback tours in the summer. They spend the winter and spring precisely on the Georgian steppes. Winter is much milder here than in the High Caucasus. As a result, we can invite you on beautiful horse trails! Spring is luscious green glades and autumn sparkles in golden colours. The tour season runs from November to the end of May.
Saddles We have Georgian ones with a large and comfortable cushion on the seat. They are ideal for longer journeys.
1. Rajd konny do Tęczowych Gór
We set off on horseback to rainbow mountains and a picturesque lake. These places are called the Georgian Mars or Peru! We travel about 25 km round trip on horseback. The trail leads through Georgian steppes, dirt roads. We ride at a brisk pace. We have ideal stretches for fast gallops. The rainbow mountains shimmer in carmine yellow and beige. Their reflection on the crystal clear surface of the water enhances their effect! You will feel like you are on another planet! We will ride on horseback to a lookout point from where you will admire these cosmic views in 360 degrees! You have to see it with your own eyes! At the lake there will be time for the horses to stop and rest, and a picnic with regional Georgian delicacies. After a rest we will set off on the return journey.

Horseback riding, galloping through the Georgian desert with its endless horizons is an unforgettable feeling of freedom in the saddle. It is every rider's dream, which together with our irreplaceable horses we can fulfil for you.

Note: The pace of the ride is decided by the horse guide, adapting it to the participants' skills
2. Rajd konny do Natlismtsemeli, the ancient cave complex of the Monastery of St. John the Baptist
Wyruszymy konno do gruzińskiej Jordanii! Do mistycznego klasztoru w skale św. Jana Chrzciciela, który stanowi fascynującą historię głębokiego chrześcijańskiego dziedzictwa Gruzji. Jego początki sięgają VI wieku. Z biegiem czasu jego mury były świadkami niezliczonych najazdów. Od Turków, przez Persów, po Mongołów. Po dziś dzień mieszkają w tych surowych warunkach zakonnicy. Konno przemierzamy około 35 km w dwie strony. Szlak prowadzi przez rozległe polany, stepy, polne drogi. Na trasie mamy dobre odcinki galopów. Konno dojeżdżamy pod sam klasztor galopując przez kaniony i góry pustyni.

Jak w kadrze westernowego filmu zostawimy nasze konie przed główną bramą kompleksu aby mogły odpocząć. A my na piechotę zwiedzimy wnętrze kościoła w skale, dawne groty, pokoje zakonników oraz wieżę. W okolicy klasztoru będzie przerwa na popas dla koni oraz piknik z regionalnymi, gruzińskimi przysmakami. Po odpoczynku wyruszymy w drogę powrotną. Pożegnamy się z naszymi końmi i pojedziemy do Tbilisi.

Requirements and Skills
- Required Riding Level: The tour is for intermediate to advanced riders. The ability to move freely at the trot, canter and gallop is required.
- Physical limitations: Maximum participant weight 85 kg, and minimum age 16 years (only if accompanied by an adult - legal guardian)
- Physical Conditioning: Good physical condition is required to make the trip enjoyable

Organisational details:
- We do not run a riding school or organise horse walks for photos.
- Included in the tour price are:
- A horse with a full row
- Supervision by a local horse guide
- Picnic during the trip
- In addition, transport from Tbilisi: For those willing, we organise transfers to and from Tbilisi.
- The start of the tour is at 10.30 a.m. If you are using our transfer, the pick-up from Tbilisi is at 9.00 a.m. (You can also arrive to the tour start point on your own, the exact location is sent to you upon booking).

What to take with you on the trip?
- Comfortable, sporty clothing suitable for the weather and suitable for riding

- There can be strong winds in the desert, prepare suitable clothing for this weather.
Important principles:
- Prohibition of alcohol consumption in the saddle
- Remember the basic rules of culture and respect towards other people and animals.
- No smoking or littering on horseback. There will be an opportunity to smoke during breaks. We take all rubbish back with us. Remember the environment
- During the breaks you can take photo sessions, during the ride we do not stop at additional places outside the scheduled breaks.
The price depends on the number of people in the group and any individual arrangements.
