Rainbow mountains

Get our brave caucasian horses! They are very hardy on the trail and accustomed to open areas. After all, this is their pasture every day. These are our Mose horses from the High Caucasus from the village of Ushguli, where we organise horseback tours in the summer. In the Georgian desert, the season lasts from November to the end of May. Horses spend the winter and spring precisely on the Georgian steppes. As a result, we can invite you on beautiful horse trails! Spring is a luscious green glade and autumn sparkles in golden colours.

Saddles We have Georgian ones with a large and comfortable cushion on the seat. They are ideal for longer journeys.

A rally dedicated to those who can ride a horse. Move freely at a walk, trot and gallop.

We will spend the evening integrating in an atmospheric restaurant, tasting delicious Georgian cuisine.

Day 2 - Rainbow Mountains

After breakfast we will drive about 40 minutes to the starting point of our horseback rally! We start the tour at our base in the village of Lemshveniera, which can be translated as beautiful. On site you will meet our local horse guide Mose and our horses. We will assign a mount for each of you. We set off on horseback to rainbow mountains and a picturesque lake. These places are called the Georgian Mars or Peru! We travel about 25 km round trip on horseback. The trail leads through Georgian steppes, dirt roads. We ride at a brisk pace. We have ideal stretches for fast gallops. The rainbow mountains shimmer in carmine yellow and beige. Their reflection on the crystal clear surface of the water enhances their effect! You will feel like you are on another planet! We will ride on horseback to a lookout point from where you will admire these cosmic views in 360 degrees! You have to see it with your own eyes! At the lake there will be a pop and rest for the horses and a picnic with regional Georgian delicacies. After a rest we will set off on the return journey. Horseback riding, galloping through the Georgian desert with its endless horizons, is an unforgettable feeling of freedom in the saddle. It is every rider's dream, which together with our irreplaceable horses we can fulfil for you. In the evening we will return to Tbilisi.

Day 3 - On horseback to Natlismtsemeli, the ancient cave complex of the Monastery of St. John the Baptist

On this day we will set off on horseback to Georgian Jordan! To the mystical monastery in the rock of St John the Baptist, which is a fascinating story of Georgia's deep Christian heritage. Its origins date back to the 6th century. Over time, its walls have witnessed countless invasions. From the Turks, to the Persians, to the Mongols. To this day, monks still live in these harsh conditions. On horseback, we travel about 35 km in both directions. The trail leads through vast clearings, steppes and dirt roads. We have good galloping sections along the route. On horseback we arrive at the monastery itself galloping through the canyons and mountains of the desert. Like a frame from a western movie, we will leave our horses in front of the main gate of the complex to rest. And we will explore on foot the interior of the rock-hewn church, the former grottoes, the monks' rooms and the tower. There will be a break near the monastery for the horses to rest and a picnic with regional Georgian delicacies. After a rest, we will set off on our return journey. We will say goodbye to our horses and drive back to Tbilisi. At the hotel you will be able to rest before your early flight to Warsaw.
