#ZekariWindow is one of our projects that we have been running for the past eight years. Its aim is to sustainably develop tourism in the subalpine glades near the road to the Zekari Pass, in a place called Kvasakdara and around the Didmaghgali mountain. We want to show our guests these fabulous areas in the Imereti region so that the human footprint remains as small as possible. We want to preserve the authenticity of this place. We have been exploring this area for the last few years. Together with the locals We marked out trails with shepherds. We explored the land. Today we can say that, thanks to our tremendous work, we know these areas like the back of our hand. However, we realise that these are not the places known from the guidebooks of Georgia. This is definitely still a wild and little-known Georgia. This is how we want to preserve it and show it to you.
We are developing the project together with local shepherds, who are the only inhabitants of the area. They continually cultivate the shepherding tradition passed down from generation to generation and bring their herds of cattle here for the summer season. At ZekariWindow we only organise individual expeditions.
We invite you to:
- 1-day jeep tour from Kutaisi
- 2-day jeep tour with 1 overnight stay in a hut or in tents
- Multi-day trekking expedition
- Events for groups (yoga, workshops, trekking, hacking, star gazing).

- There is about 2-3 metres of snow here in winter and it lasts for a very long time. These trails are not cleared of snow. Which, on the other hand, provides the opportunity for great skydiving or snowshoeing expeditions.

We organise all this with care for nature and with respect for local pastoral traditions. Welcome to ZekariWindow!
